NFL Sunday strikes again! So much to go over! A little lengthy here so pick and choose as you please! Hereâs what went down yesterdayâŚ
Cowboys get LAST SECOND win over Steelers, 20-17! This was exactly what you thought itâd be. A gritty game between two struggling offenses. There was an hour-and-a-half weather delay, and then a 3 and a half quarter fun delay as well. The game didnât get interesting until a few minutes left in the fourth. Dak had to drive the boys down the length of the field and on 4th and Goal from the 5, fading away he threw a ball to Jalen Tolbert to go up by 4! The Cowboys got a MASSIVE win to get back over .500!
Vikings ROLL in London! In a game where Aaron Rodgers threw three interceptions and it was all Vikings early, the Jets still had a shot to tie up the game down the stretch. A little 9:30 AM action never hurt nobody! It was a little early for a Sunday in front of the TV, but we got to see the only 4-0 teams left in the NFC. The Vikings are a good team, because good teams find ways to win games, and even though they struggled late, their defense carried them to victory!
Ravens def. Bengals in OT, 41-38! If I told you the Bengals had three different 10 point leads in the second half, Joey B threw for 392 yards and 5 TDs, and JaâMaar had 193 and 2, you would ask how many points they won by. Man. Just not falling the Bengals way early in the season. Lamar put on an absolute show as well in the second half and in OT to set up a Justin Tucker FG in OT! Ravens go to 3-2, Bengals fall to 1-4!
Buffalo Time Management Woes! The Houston Texans choked away a 17 point lead in the second half to the Buffalo Bills, but were gifted by a very weird set of play calls with under a minute to go by the Bills. In what was supposed to be the Allen-Diggs game, it really wasnât. It was Nico Collins, Cam Akers, and Keon Coleman who made plays in this one! The Bills punted to the Texans from their own endzone with under a minute to play, and the Texans were able to set up Kaâimi Fairbairn for a 59-yarder! Right down the middle! Texans move to 4-1, Bills fall to 3-2
GIANTS STUMPSET SEAHAWKS! Is there life in New York?!?! No Nabers. No Singletary. No problem! Danny Dimes was looking like the DJ who brought the Giants into the postseason and won a game just two seasons ago! Both sides of the ball were clicking on all cylinders and the Giants beat the 3-1 Seahawks! Still confused about both of these teams coming out of this one.
Jayden Daniels Will Soon be in the MVP Discussion! If the Commander keep winning the way they are, forget about Rookie of the Year, Jayden Daniels will absolutely be put in the MVP discussion! The Commanders stomped on the Browns, 34-13. Daniels threw for 240 and ran for another 82. He connected with Terry McLaurin 4 times for 112 yards. Something is brewing in Washington! MASSIVE game next week in Baltimore! Lots of popcorn will be needed for that one!
Cards STUMPSET 49ers! The Arizona Cardinals are one of the most confusing teams in the league. Some weeks they look lost and others they are absolutely dialed. A combination of great play from Kyler and the Defense helped the Cards STUMPSET the 49ers and move to 2-3. Lot of question marks in San Fran!
