There was a TON of really good action yesterday in the NFL, so much so, that if you blinked you may have missed something. So let us take care of it for you

đŸ”„Penix ALMOST Perfect in his NFL debut: The Falcons don’t need Michael Penix Jr. to be perfect to win, they just need him to keep the offense on the field. Despite a late first-half interception, thanks to Kyle Pitts bobbling a ball near the goal line. The Falcons were much better on third down than on previous weeks, and the run game took off with Penix under center. The Falcons still have a shot at the playoffs, and Penix may be the guy to get them there.

đŸ’Ș Daniels Comes Up Clutch Again: Washington’s star rookie QB Jayden Daniels once again shined when the Commanders needed it most. The Commanders took possession with less than 2 minutes in the game trailing by five and 57 yards to go. No stress for Jayden Daniels. He hit Jamison Crowder for a 9-yard TD with 6 seconds remaining to defeat an Eagles team that had won ten straight games. With one more win, the Commanders can clinch a playoff spot, they play the Falcons next.

💯 Nothing Can Stop the Detroit Lions: This whole team could get hurt and I still think they could win a ball game. Dan Campbell just gets his guys ready to play a football game. Not like the Bears are world beaters, but it was just the way Lions won. They can do it through the air, on the ground, with defense, with offense, it doesn’t matter. Just put the football down.

❌ Two Teams Eliminated from the Playoffs: If you told me at the beginning of the year that the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys would not only miss out on the playoffs, but be eliminated in Week 16, I would’ve said that you’re crazy. Yes, injuries have played a massive role in this for both teams. But injuries haven’t stopped some teams (Hint, Detroit). I can sit here and say these teams were just unlucky, and maybe I’d be right. But something feels off with these teams, both of them. Is Purdy the answer? Do the Cowboys have enough?
