We have had A LOT of things happen these last 7 days! Iām talking Stumpets, Championships, and a lot more. I think today is a perfect day for a mid-week recap:
šļø š The WNBA Season concluded with the Las Vegas Aces winning their third championship in four years! That is dynasty level greatness. AāJa Wilson was fantastic, but it was others such as Chelsea Gray, Jackie Young, and Dana Evans who showed up to help the Aces bring home the chip! Thatās all she wrote from the 2025 WNBA season! Aces sweep the Mercury 4-0! Win WNBA Finals.
ā ļø Mike Evans. Hurt. Bucky Irving. Hurt. Chris Godwin. Hurt. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers must be a bottom team in the league, right? They might be the hottest team in the league right now. They are 5-1 and Baker Mayfield is playing like an NFL candidate. They just knocked off the hot 49ers, and they have wins against the Eagles and Seahawks as well, three of the best teams in the NFC. The Bucs are hot! We might be talking about them in February!
š College Football Firing! Penn State lost three game in a row, the last of two were games in which they were 20 point favorites. They were a play away from playing in the National Championship last year, and now just on Sunday they fired their long-time head coach James Franklin. The Nittany Lions will be dawning a new era. Players committed to the university have already started to announce the reopening of their commitment! Interesting time at Penn State!
ā¾ļø The ALCS and NLCS are officially underway. We are two games down in each of the two seriesā, and both road teams stole both games against the higher seed. The Seattle Mariners beat up the unflappable Blue Jays, and the Dodgers, behind dominant pitching from Blake Snell and Yoshi Yamamoto are up 2-0 on the Milwaukee Brewers. Tough for the Blue Jays and Brewers, but something tells me that these seriesā are far from over!
